I got to spend a glorious weekend over at Broadturn Farm playing with Stacy Brenner’s flowers and coming up with beautiful creations for three weddings.
I put together the boutennieres for this wedding; bay leaf, sedum, alyssum, lavender, and a poppy pod.
I also made the boutonniere for the groom, which was a bit daunting, but fun to make! His included scented geranium, lavender, sedum, rosemary, poppy pod, alyssum, straw flower, and a crab apple!
This is a corsage I made with a similar combination of flowers.
Here’s Stacy holding the bride’s bouquet she created, which has to be one of the most amazing I’ve ever seen! I love the crab apples and hops especially and how they made a traditional flower like a rose seem rustic!
